Comprehensive School Improvement Plan

Comprehensive School Improvement Plan (CSIP)  

The Richards R-V School District planning process occurs every five years. The Comprehensive School Improvement Committee is appointed to evaluate and revise the Plan.  Parents, students, teachers, and community members provide input during the planning process to shape the district’s five-year strategic plan.

Our Planning Process:  

  1. Establish School Improvement Committee

    1. Representatives from parents, students, teachers, administrators, board members, businesses & the community 

  2. Data Analysis

    1. MSIP 6 Performance Standards, Missouri Learning Standards

    2. Annual Performance Reports

    3. Student Performance

    4. Demographics

    5. Surveys

    6. Local, state, and federal statutes, requirements, guidelines

  3. Establish Goals

  1. Improve student academic performance

  2. Meet MSIP 6 Performance Standards

  1. Accountability

    1. Identify persons responsible 

    2. Goals are measurable

  2. Strategies

    1. Determine how the district will accomplish goals

  3. Actions

    1. Design specific steps to take in order to carry out strategies

  4. Implementation

    1. Monitor progress & Evaluate annually
