Mr. Gerald Smith, Director

I am an Alton High School graduate, and received my Bachelors of Science degree in Biology from Southwest Missouri State University (MSU).  I have been employed by the Missouri Department of Conservation since 1999.  I have been a resident of the Richards School District since 2003.  

I have two daughters, Summer and Morgan who attended Richards, and my son, Nathan is currently a student at Richards.  I enjoy following and cheering each of them in their activities, and spending time outdoors enjoying the Ozarks.  

I look forward to serving the residents of Richards School District and the community, as well as working with the Richards’s administration staff and board members to ensure the best environment for the students to succeed.
