Mr. Rick Luna
Mr. Rick Luna began his teaching career at Gainesville in 2000. At Gainesville he served as the Jr. High Special Education teacher and Girls Assistant basketball coach.
2001-2004 Mr. Luna went to Fairview where he was the Athletic Director and coached Basketball, Baseball, Cross Country, and Track.
In 2005 Mr. Luna went to Dora where he was the High School Principal, Athletic Director, Boys Basketball Coach, and Boys Baseball Coach for 15 years.
From Dora, Mr. Luna went to Viola, Arkansas where he was the Assistant Principal, Boys Basketball Coach and Boys Baseball Coach from 2020-2025.
Mr. Luna has 20 years of admin/teaching/coaching in Missouri and 5 years of admin/teaching/coaching in Arkansas. Mr. Luna is excited to come back to Missouri and teach/coach alongside his wife, Mrs. Olivia Luna. Mr. and Mrs. Luna have four sons: Mason, Auston, Bryson Luna and Jaxon Hughes. When Mr. Luna is not at school, you could find him on his farm in Dora messing with cattle, putting up hay, or hunting. If he ever has any spare time he loves playing golf with his wife and boys.
