Shawna Land is a first grade teacher at Richards School. She began her teaching career in 1993 as a Title I Aide at Junction Hill School. In 1998 she took a Title I Aide position at Glenwood School, where she remained until 2014. While at Glenwood, she served in many capacities, including: assistant coaching (basketball, track, and cross country), head coaching (volleyball, softball, and cheerleading), Title I Reading and Math interventionist, and Classroom Aide.
In 2012, she received her Teaching Certificate and began teaching 2nd grade. In 2014, she came to Richards School and began teaching 2nd grade. She now teaches 1st grade.
Shawna lives in West Plains with her husband and two daughters.
