Rocket School Day Care
Day Care Services and/or Dual Enrollment
As an Early Childhood Center, we will also be offering Day Care services for our parents and guardians who are unable to let their child attend preschool due to work or other obligations because Title I Preschool is a half-day program. The Day Care fee is $10.00 per day and will be billed weekly. If school is in session, your child will be charged the $10.00 fee. However, if you qualify for free or reduced meals, there will be no charge for day care. The Day Care Service will enable Title I Preschool students to stay “at” school all day. The Day Care Program will use a curriculum based program for early learners. Students enrolled in the Title I Preschool may also be dually enrolled in the Richards Early Childhood Day Care Program. Students must be 4 years old by August 1st and be residents of Richards R-V School District to enroll in either or both programs.
Transportation
Title I Preschool Students:
Half-day students will be able to ride the bus to school if enrolled only in the morning Title I Preschool but will have to be picked up at 11:00 a.m. at the Early Childhood Center. Half-day students enrolled in the afternoon Title I Preschool will need to be dropped off at 12:15 at the Early Childhood Center but can ride the bus home at the end of the day.
Dual Enrollment into Both Programs:
Students enrolled in the Title I Preschool and Richards Early Childhood Day Care Program will be able to ride the bus to school and return home on the bus.
Breakfast and Lunch
Students enrolled only in the Morning Title I Preschool Program will be served breakfast.
Students enrolled only in the Afternoon Title I Preschool Program will be served an afternoon snack milk.
Students enrolled in both Title I Preschool Program and Richards Early Childhood Day Care will be served breakfast, lunch and snack milk.
Breakfast and snack milk will be served at the Early Childhood Center.
Lunch will be served at Richards R-V main campus.
If enrolled in both the Title I Preschool and Richards Early Childhood Program, the $10/day fee will cover breakfast and lunch costs but will not cover the afternoon snack milk cost of $.25 per day. If you qualify for free meals, you will have to pay for the afternoon snack milk cost of $.25 per day. If you qualify for reduced meals, you will have to pay breakfast cost of $.30 per day, lunch cost of $.40 per day and afternoon snack milk cost of $.25 per day.
