Mrs. April Collins
Hi! My name is April Collins, I have been working in education since 2010. Starting out, I worked as a Title-1 aide at Richard's School in West Plains for three years, and then as the Middle School Science Teacher at Norwood Middle School for two years. Next I taught at Willow Springs Elementary from 2015 to 2022 first in Third grade, and then in Kindergarten. I returned to Richards School to continue teaching Kindergarten in 2022.
My wonderful husband Matt and I have two fantastic kids, Mckensie and Colton who are both very active athletes and they keep us busy year round. I am a graduate of Missouri State University. I obtained two different degrees from MSU. First, I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. Next, I earned my Master's Degree in Education with an emphasis in Reading. I love everything about being an educator and I am so excited to have the opportunity to be a part of your child's education.
